As we have been observing many incidents where woman misuse laws to punish husband and their families Or in short Feminism hurting man and their families. Recently a video emerged where a daughter in law was seen beating and trying to kill her Mother in law . Feminist were in a puzzled state as this time both sides had woman.
Where majority of sensible people had condemned this barbaric act and called it sick, feminist still tried to defend it. Many feminist were seen on social media defending it with alleged torture on daughter in law what they forgot to accept the fact is there is video showing a daughter in law attempting to kill her mother in law, which a way bigger proof of her violent nature than her verbal statements. On one side, feminist justifying the act with a prior history of alleged torture, the same feminist doesn’t want to understand the mindset of rapists if he ever go through extremely bad childhood, again a clear double standard from feminism who continuously claim to stand for equality.
Where husband and his family has already gone through lot of social, mental and physical pain under various cases including going to jail, the wife still roams free inspite of doing attempt to kill her mother in law. This clearly shows the handicap situation of our judicial system where they are unable to punish the criminal if it involves a woman. As in India, we have already seen numerous videos where woman beating policemen, girls beating boys in buses, woman beating husband or their families but not even a single woman ever been jailed or punished for these violent acts, instead the other person is punished by judiciary and society. So, does constitution of India has become so weak that it is unable to provide justice when the criminal is a woman, especially a young woman?
The video has received lot of criticism from majority of public, but imagine a situation if this video had a man beaten up by a woman. Definitely in that scenario, there would have been so much of criticism, in fact this might have come up as hilarious video for many where wife is beating a husband. Many would have also appreciated her act saying this man deserve this kind of punishment without knowing a single fact. But when it comes to an individual or his family then they do realize that violence or these biased behaviour should not only be criticized but stopped as they never build a civilized society. The misandry is deeply rooted and it is clearly visible in any day to day situation.
Whether it is domestic violence, dowry or rape law; all have good history and numbers for their misuse. The key reasons for these misuse is their open ended definitions and no punishment for false case. With high number of false cases, still the government is not concerned for the real victim because of these laws. Recently, Women and Child minister, Maneka Gandhi cited the number of fake cases is minuscule and simply ignored the agony of victims. The laws are neither framed properly nor they have been checked timely. For example, domestic violence law is so biased as that neither it allows husband nor his family to file a case against harassment from wife and their families . It clearly means that it is legal for wife and their families to do domestic violence with husband and his family in India. Recently a Delhi court also quashed a rape case and cited its “Time to take a stand to protect men from false cases”. The courts have experience enough to identify the genuineness of case on the day they get filed but never dare to take a stand and punish the woman even when they appear false.
Feminism talks about gender equality but you can pick any law, policy or scheme brought by feminism it will always be gender biased. It will have no privilege to consider the ill effects of these laws, in fact they encourage the misuse by not punishing the false accusers. Where feminism is already exposed with their inner motive of misandry rather than women empowerment, it is high time government and judiciary take hard steps to stop the sinking titanic before it results in further catastrophic effects on India.
