“Can women leaders make the world more peaceful?” – This was the topic of the conversation between Arianna Huffington co-founder and editor-in-chief of “The Huffington Post” and Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev who founded the ISHA Foundation, a non-religious, non profit foundation that teaches yoga and has centers all around the world including in Tennessee, USA where the conversation took place. The almost nine minute video of the conversation is on the Facebook page of Isha, USA. The video was purposeful and had certain messaging, which is why it became so important to analyse it and rebut the incorrect message and the mischievous intent behind it.
I watched it several times. The video had two parts. Arianna Huffington spoke for initial less than two minutes in which she delivered a propaganda message in declarative language as if it was the truth, and had to be accepted, no questions asked. Indeed the purpose of the video was to plant the propaganda message in the minds of listeners without discussing it. Because what followed the two minute delivery of the propaganda, consumed the rest of the video without directly challenging or discussing it. Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev speaking in his mystic and convincing style appearing not to oppose the message but speaking about the parts he agreed with and left the rest uncontested. While doing that, he related a story from his childhood that touches the hearts of the audience. The listeners will be left with the propaganda planted in their minds and perhaps believing it without knowing that it was cleverly and deceptively planted in them.
Its important to understand that the context of the propaganda message was the USA. But it can be expected that sooner than later, it will be applied to the rest of the world as well. The message of the propaganda was,
The world as it is now has been designed by men and is not working. The first women’s revolution brought the women in the US, the right to vote (in 1920). The second women’s revolution headed by Gloria Steinem and others brought the women in the US the right to work in all fields of work and receive same pay as men. The third women’s revolution is currently on, in which women have big responsibility to lead and transform how success and work is defined in the world today. Women have responsibility to change the way businesses are being run and work is being done. Women have responsibility to change the corporate structure and the political world. Women have responsibility to change the terms of competition in the workplace. More women leaders would make the world a better and more peaceful place.
Let us look at these points one by one.
Was the world designed by men? Or did it evolve over thousands of years while men and women were struggling to survive and get by? Didn’t even a few hundred years ago, the world used to be a relatively much more difficult place to live in? Does Ms. Arianna Huffington uses a refrigerator in her home, has air conditioning, 24 hour electricity, drives to her work, uses dishwasher, washer-dryer, uses a smartphone, communicates on internet, uses GPS, uses tampons once a month, and so on? And then she says that the world is not working? The fact is that the world has always been evolving and becoming a better place, and it will always continue to do so. No matter how improved the world becomes, it will always be possible to improve more. Even then if you complain about the world not working, then it says more about you than about the world. It means there is something fishy in your agenda. The fact is that the world today is much better than it used to be. Its expected to become even better in the future. It is working, and lets appreciate that! We can make it even better without complaining about it.
When the first women’s revolution brought the women in US the right to vote, it perhaps was a women’s revolution. But since then it has changed its character. There are many women who were part of women’s revolution then and have left it since. Because they understood how it had changed and not remained women’s revolution any more. There are many women who are against feminism today. Just search in Google or YouTube with the search phrase “Women against feminism” and you will see what these women have to say.
Since 1920, what has been going on in the name of feminism is not what is claimed feminism is. Feminism has become another way of doing what Marxism would have done. Feminism is actually cultural Marxism with a mask of feminism. Look at feminist propaganda which is always designed to generate resentment and anger in women against men. They talk about patriarchy theory, rape culture and so on in the same declarative manner (has to be believed, no questions asked), in which Arianna Huffington spoke in this video. But when we look at those theories and inspect them against the evidence there is, the theory falls apart. It has been well explained by Karen Straughan. Then, look at the laws that the feminists push for. The laws are always designed to victimize men so that men also will feel resentment and anger against women. Many men are no longer marrying due to this. There is a MGTOW movement now. Men Going Their Own Way, where men do not want to have a relationship with any woman or marry any more. Feminism is effectively dismantling the society as it is today. Family, which is the smallest unit of the society, is breaking apart. This was the goal of the cultural Marxism in grab of Feminism from the beginning. Instead of dividing the society on racial or ethnic lines, they found a more effective one in gender which breaks apart the family and hence the society. This is why feminists can’t speak a sentence that is gender transparent or come up with a law that is gender transparent. They are obsessed with gender.
Arianna Huffington says that how success and work is defined has to be changed. But she didn’t say anything about how should the definition of success and work be changed. She said that the corporate structure and political world should be changed. But she didn’t say anything about what change she has in mind. One is at loss to understand what to make of that. But looking at what Feminism has done in last over a hundred years, and knowing that Feminist goals are in fact Marxist goals, we can expect that what she had in mind was to change the meaning of work and success and change the corporate structure and political world in accordance with Marxist thought.
Finally, would more women leaders mean a more peaceful world? Do we really think that there is something special about women? I don’t think so. Don’t we really know that women can be as kind or as evil as men? It will be best if we become gender transparent in this respect. Gender should not be seen as any useful quality. Gender should not matter, unless it does matter due to the demands of the role. Its possible that men and women are exactly the same. Or it’s possible that men and women do differ in some respects as nature has made them different with a purpose. Be whatever it may, but if we are not even looking at gender and all decisions are made on the basis of merit and a just playing field, then it doesn’t matter whether gender matters or not. In the areas that men and women are equal, both will automatically do better. In the areas that women are better than men, women will do better and vice-versa. What we should do is accept those differences in the outcome if any. Let the women do better in the fields that they are better. Let the men do better in the fields that they are better, if any. What we should not do is to skew the playing field in favor of one and against the other to always produce the outcome of equal achievement between men and women. That will be dishonest, and yet this is what Feminism has been doing since generations now.
This can be seen in schools, where boys are admonished and disciplined for being rough in playing. Boys are trained to become feminine from childhood. Girls are encouraged to play more sport. A similar process has been in play in other areas too. In media, news-papers, workplaces, politics, everywhere there is an effort to manipulate the opportunities, and provide training and brain-washing to negate the natural differences between men and women so as to produce an outcome of equal achievement between men and women. The playing field is being manipulated by skewing the training and opportunities, to achieve an outcome of equal achievement between boys and girls. When in fact it should have been the training and opportunities that should have been equal, and the outcome of achievement should have been accepted whatever it was that the boys and girls achieve, having got equal training and opportunities.
What is going on in the name of this third wave of Women’s movement as indicated by Arianna Huffington is the feminization of the world. Feminization of the corporate structure, and political world. It is going on. And now Arianna Huffington has stated there is more to come. She didn’t say it directly in the video, but she meant that hard work and superior results and superior performance should not be appreciated. People should be able to look at work as a relaxation center where they can be laid back. If some people work hard and produce more results, then it creates inequality between workers. Some are too good and some are not as good. This has to be changed. Workers should all be equal and be equally successful. This is what she meant by changing the definition of success and work. We know what are the results of Feminist changes in family laws and family structure. Don’t expect that the results of Feminist changes in corporate structure and political world will be any different. So, Can women leaders make the world more peaceful? You answer!
