First thing first!
To Maneka Gandhi,
(Should I say, A Minister under Hon’ble Govt Of India? Well Let’s assume I just said that).
I have come to hear that you have been talking about women of all kinds and ages – unmarried, single, separated, divorced, rude, stupid, abusive, swearing, lying, defaming, mentally ill, healthy, good(ah the rare kind!), dumb, etc. – to be protected from online trolling by passing a new policy (read as law).
Soon, there will be men jailed, threatened or extorted on the allegation of commenting “You look good” on the profile picture of a girl. Or, even better, the girl would claim that the moron commented “you look good” and took down the comment immediately after she challenged him with her inner ugliness.
Social Media is one of the way, of communication where one can directly interact, appreciate, criticize people and their policies. We all know how social media has given names to famous politicians like Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “Feku” or “NaMo” ; Rahul Gandhi as “RaGa” or “Pappu” or Arvind Kejriwal as “Keju” or “MufflerMan”; these politicians have tasted success or criticism too because of social media. But post the suggested law, one can troll Mr. Narendra Modi but can not troll Ms. Barkha Dutt. Feminism has been a confused movement, it talks about equality of women with men, it says, women is more powerful and in no sense inferior to men but on the same side consider them weak and need different laws and policies to protect them or shall I say an option to threaten men who disagree with them in any sense.
As you have allowed women to make false allegations on men, answer one quick question from me – Who should take the punishment(how much ever non-existent) for the false allegations? The power-giving you? Or, the women who make such allegations? You haven’t stated such things or even about past passed laws in Parliament. Are you trying to say that you don’t know anything about already passed anti-male laws or you trying to be naive?
Stop trolling entire men of the Nation – We all know how many false rape cases are opened, investigated (read as – men extorted) and aptly ‘settled’ out of court. Your statements in the Parliament and making anti-male laws have the power to worsen men’s livelihood of this Nation and Children, which already is at its worst by the way. Already, the pendency of anti-male cases and false allegations on men are at an all time high.
The situation for men is not going to change unless they raise their voice under such stupid and one-sided policies.
